What does the workshop cover?

The primary purpose of the Team Improvement Workshop Certification is to provide participants with a set of practical tools to help teams gain alignment on the context in which they operate, set team goals, clarify team member roles, run more effective meetings, make better decisions, resolve team conflict, etc.

Participants will practice using 17 team improvement exercises and learn how to build powerful team interventions during the workshop.

Facilitators

Gordy Curphy, PhD

Is a leading authority on leadership and teams, and spends most of his time helping C-suite and business unit leaders develop and execute business strategies; drive organisational alignment; manage talent; and build high performing teams.

Gordy has spent the past 35 years providing consulting advice on leadership and has written more than 20 books on leadership and teams. As a consultant, he has conducted more than 1,500 executive assessments, consulted with thousands of teams, and designed and delivered hundreds of executive coaching and leadership development programmes to global clients.

Brendan Lynch

Brendan has over 15 years experience as a leadership development expert, working with leadership teams and individual leaders.

He coaches a number of CEs and their ELTs, and is involved in the design, development and facilitation of leadership development programmes for NZDF, in particular NZDF senior leaders.

Brendan is a senior consultant at Winsborough and a highly skilled and experienced leadership facilitator. He brings a wealth of hands-on leadership and team development experience drawn from a range of public and private sector clients.
